A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
Hi I'm Sam, as the daughter of a Gamekeeper I have always been surrounded by animals. I was 8 when I raised my first Labrador as its mum thought the runt was best left to die but I had other idea's, looking after this tiny helpless puppy and sleeping next to it in a makeshift moses basket installed a great love for animals that has grown and grown. I have looked after and raised almost every kind of domestic pet you can think of, from chickens and ducks to dogs, cats, ferrets, orphaned lambs and horses.
Betts pets started in 2014, I have been very fortunate to be recommended by many clients and to enable us to meet demand I now work with a small team of fantastic people. We operate a strict two hand rule where no more than two of us handle a client. This has ensured our services run smoothly throughout the year and gives us maximum flexibility to be able to help. You know who will be with your pet and we know you and your pet well so we can tell if anything isn't quite as it should be.
We were originally based in Hampstead norreys Berkshire but as of the first of April 2022 we are now based in the beautiful rural Bassett down, Wroughton for our home boarding and daycare. We collect and return dogs so the the extra distance isn't inconvenient for clients and the dogs travel in safety and comfort. We offer a range of high-quality bespoke dog services catering to your exact needs. I can look after your pet during the day or evening, and whilst your farther afield. I also offer luxury dog home boarding for both long and short term and dog educational holidays. We take great care with your dog and when walking will only allow dogs off a lead in safe and secure locations and with your written consent. I have 3.5 acres of dog secure exercise area's and walk mainly on private land, ensuring your dog can exercise in a large, but secure open space.
At my home I use the enclosed dog play area of 3.5 acres divided between 2 area's. This is useful for recall testing, training, playing frisbee and socialisation and to allow those dogs unable to be let off the lead a little bit of controlled freedom. We are fully insured and operate a SafeKey system, ensuring your property’s security at all times and I use added common sense when you’re away from home by only using an un-marked vehicle. I am CRB checked and have been trained in animal first aid and am licensed by Wiltshire council to home board dogs.
